In a press release  from 22nd December 2022, the Advanced Materials Division of 3M informed that they will discontinue the production of all per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances by end of 2025. Dyneon GmbH, as global supplier for fluoropolymer raw materials, is part of the Advanced Material Division of 3M.

Adtech use a wide range of fluoropolymer grades from various manufacturers to ensure a consistent supply and are not restricted to any one grade of material unless it has been specified.

We are not heavily dependent upon raw polymer from Dyneon and we are currently in the process of reviewing our product range.  Where this is a specified polymer we will reach out to any customers that this may impact. This will enable us to understand your final application to work with you to find suitable alternatives.

Our extrusion partners have access to sufficient stock levels of Dyneon polymer during this transition phase until production is ceased in 2025.   They are working with us to suggest suitable alternatives for specific applications.  They also have access to high levels of polymers from Chemours, Daikin, Gurjurat amongst others.
