The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve rapidly, impacting global supply chains and the people depending on them. While we see a stabilisation of the situation in China, unfortunately the number of confirmed infections reported in other countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas continues to grow.
Here at Adtech, we are liaising with our supply chain, particularly the raw material manufacturers, as to the potential impact the Coronavirus may cause and the actions taken to mitigate any impact in the supply.
We hold very high stock levels of our standard stock sizes to mitigate for any delays to raw polymer supplies further up the supply chain. We also have accounts with several logistic companies to mitigate the risk should one not be able to service our needs.
As part of our resilience planning, we have taken several precautionary steps to safeguard our team against COVID-19:
We have communicated to the team the latest guidelines issued by HM Government regarding travel.
We have also communicated to the teams the importance of following hygiene protocols in line with the World Health Organisation and PHE guidance. This particularly focuses on hand hygiene.
We have increased cleaning schedules across the site, paying attention to touch points.
We have asked our team to self-isolate for 14 days if they or anyone in their household displays any symptoms and to follow the advice issued by PHE.
We will continue to monitor the risks as part of our risk mitigation and scenario handling, in line with our quality system, and will keep you updated of any changes.
